Wharf Estates Limited (“Wharf”) respects personal data privacy and is committed to preserve the confidentiality of your personal information collected and obtained from the mobile application “Plaza Hollywood Mobile Application" (the “Application”). To ensure that you can make informed decisions and feel confident about providing us with your personal information, we outline in this notice our practices and the choice you have concerning the collection and use of your personal information.

1. Types of Personal Information Collected

The types of personal information we collect from you will depend on the specific type of services and products as requested by or provided to you for the purposes mentioned in paragraph 2 below. Personal information you may be required to provide includes, but not limited to:

1. Your name, gender, date of birth;
2. Your contact information, including but not limited to telephone numbers, mailing address and email addresses;
3. Your Hong Kong Identity Card and/or travel document details;
4. Your device background location (Your device will not access background location records on the "Application" without your authorization. You can control how the "Application" can access background location through your device settings and in-app menu); and
5. Purposes of Collecting Personal Information

2. Your personal information are collected for the following purposes:-

1. provision of information, goods, services and benefits in relation to Plaza Hollywood;
2. provision or supply of information for any function or event at Plaza Hollywood;
3. marketing analysis, research and development;
4. internal analytics, audit and product improvement purposes;
5. information and database administration;
6. provide in-mall navigation function based on device background location; and
7. other purposes related to the aforesaid.

3. Classes of Transferees

For the purposes mentioned at paragraph 2 above, Wharf may share, disclose or transfer your personal information to the following third parties:-

1. Plaza Hollywood Limited or as may be updated from time to time;
2. Wharf Hotels Limited
3. agents, contractors, suppliers and service providers engaged by Wharf and/or Plaza Hollywood Limited to operate, administer and manage the Application and the VIC Club (including but not limited to data analytics service providers, data processing service providers, mail processing service providers and information technology service providers); and
4. any law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, government departments and related organizations, courts and tribunals, within Hong Kong or in Mainland China.

Wharf will not use or transfer your personal information to any third parties for direct marketing purposes unless it has obtained your consent and/or indication of no objection for such use and transfer.

4. Optional Provision of Data

It is voluntary for you to provide your personal information to Wharf. However, if you fail to do so, we may not be able to provide you with the goods and services and any other information which may be of interest to you in connection with the Application.

5. Data Retention

Unless there is a specific legal requirement for us to keep the data, Wharf will take all reasonably practicable steps to destroy your personal data that is no longer required for the purposes for which the data was originally collected.

6. Access and Correction of Information

Under the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access and the correction of your personal data.

7. Change to the Privacy Policy Statement

This Personal Information Collection Statement may be updated from time to time, so please check this statement periodically. If there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
